Ahhh, finally a place.
To organize my thoughts without having to worry. I enter the blog-o-sphere, what have I done!
Now I can shift my worrying towards numerous essays I need to write in which I spend more time complaining about than actually writing.
Here I go, yay college!

A Piece of String, Tied to Me (still working on it)
You’re making me useless. I’m all tangled up,
held at bay.
Oh, how I wish to cut you off. To be free once again!
You cling to me,
There for so long, I thought you’d be off
By now.
I have no scissors. and its far too near for a knife.
I would use my teeth, to tear you off of me.
But I am no fool, or wild animal.
Ripping you off would do nothing.
You must fall on your own.
But please, hurry!
You bind and cling!
And my pulse may soon waver!
Oh, how I wish to cut you off of me!
Oh, how I wish you would let me be free.
Ireland
Half asleep, stumbling, and dazed
We step out to our misty haze
Romantic minds that dream
of the velvety blankets of green
over which we’ll see
but really we stumble into
an unexpected space
which will set us all in grace
They sang their songs we’d come to learn,
they sang the ones we’d heard before,
yet plucked and played in their own way.
But in truth,
it was the silence I’d never heard,
which struck a chord,
in me.
And yes, the velvet green did greet,
along with all its cows and sheep
but little did I forsee,
everything broken meant the most to me
Much more than covers and lovers, sheep and green,
it was the
Fragments and silence,
the borders and violence
which spoke the most to me.

an unexpected space
